cloud and co is a Seoul-based design studio that has worked with Elevenplus (11+) on various projects to create branding ranging from visual identities and product packaging, to website design. Here, cloudandco helped create the packaging for Elevenplus’s Bluetooth Speaker, Sound 1.

Everything 11+ produces takes the user’s experience into consideration. Sharing this same design philosophy is cloudandco. cloudandco believes in something called a “360 Design Experience.” “Each detail found when encountering an 11+ product has been well thought through–it is deliberate and purposeful. We invest a good amount of time thinking certain functions that are really needed for users. If it is not needed, we just remove it.”

So for Sound 1, the packaging is “designed to ensure a consistent brand aesthetic that is pure, minimal and simple. It uses a thick matte paper with graphics applied in a grey palette and debossing to match the product’s finish qualities. It also uses a neutral photographic style to reflect the product’s concept—illustrating an ability to join the speakers into a single speaker via internal magnets and allowing the cables to be stored within an empty space at the bottom of the speakers. Along with these elements, details like a hole in an accessory box and translucent envelopes for the Sound 1 and cables are also considered to make an opening experience more visually pleasing.”
