The Bridge Brewing re-brand is a collaborative project with fellow designer Danika Maust. Opened in 2012, Bridge Brewing is a nano brewery located in North Vancouver. The logo was inspired by the original Second Narrows Bridge when it had a vertical lift to allow the ships into the Burrard Inlet. To reference this, an underline was added underneath the “RIDG” to elevate the letters. Strong, bold typography paired with kraft paper and washed out photography was used to give the brand an aged look and feel. Even though the company is newer, Bridge Brewing is paying homage to old printing practices, giving the overall aesthetic an imperfect look.
